Day 1 | Lima

Upon arrival at Lima International Airport you’ll be met by an Atelier concierge who will help with your bags. Before hotel check-in, get a snapshot of life in Lima with a visit to the bohemian Barranco District, known for its colorful streets and independent art studios.

Day 2 | Lima

Your first full day in Peru’s capital city includes a visit to admire the treasure of Lima’s Larco Museum, before a walking tour in Colonial Downtown. Lunch comes courtesy of a live cooking demo at a top Lima restaurant, before an afternoon at leisure to explore the city.

Day 3 | Lima/Cusco/Sacred Valley

Next on this Lifestyle and Luxury tour of Peru’s enigmatic sites comes Cusco and the Sacred Valley, for some of the most iconic wonders in South America. You’ll fly to Cusco from the capital, where an Atelier concierge will be waiting to take you from Cusco Airport to your boutique hotel in the Sacred Valley for check-in.

Day 4 | Sacred Valley of the Incas

Begin your tour of the magical Sacred Valley at the perfectly preserved ruins of Moray and Ollantaytambo, before exploring the stunning salt pools of Maras for a real trip back in time. These hillside pools have been used to extract salt in the same way since ancient times. After a gourmet picnic amongst the stunning surrounds of the Sacred Valley, you’ll be taken back to your hotel for another a night in this mythical region of Peru.

Day 5 | Sacred Valley/Machu Picchu

Often voted the World’s Top Travel Destination, day 5 of your tour takes you to Machu Picchu, a place that has captured the imagination of countless visitors over the years. Once here, it’s easy to see why. Having traveled on a scenic train journey via Aguas Calientes, you’ll get to enjoy The Lost City on a private guided tour, before having free time to explore on your own, taking in those Sacred Valley views all the while. Later return to Aguas Calientes and your boutique lodge.

Day 6 | Machu Picchu/Cusco

Today, either enjoy the luxurious surrounds of your hotel in Aguas Calientes, take some time to explore further afield with a hike to Huayna Picchu, or re-visit Machu Picchu for a second time – with or without your guide. Later, return to Cusco by rail on the 5-star Hiram Bingham train for one of the most coveted and scenic train journeys in South America.

Day 7 | Cusco Downtown

Day 8 | Cusco/Puerto Maldonado

You’ll stay at a beautiful eco-lodge for wildlife watching, nature tours, gourmet cuisine and even a jungle spa.

Day 9 | Tambopata National Reserve

The guided excursions around Tambopata National Reserve are spectacular. You may find yourself walking hidden trails to rainforests gardens, canoeing through the wetlands, walking above the trees on a suspended bridge or a twilight river journey to look for Caiman, the choice is yours!

Day 10 | Puerto Maldonado/Lima/International Departure

As the trip draws to a close, you can take one last early morning excursion before your onward flight to Lima and home, full of priceless memories of Peru.
