Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 | Santiago
Upon arrival, you will be met by an Atelier driver/concierge who’ll help you through the airport and onwards to your boutique Santiago hotel. This evening is spent at leisure.
Day 2 | Santiago/Atacama
Today, travel north to the ethereal Atacama Desert, staying at Awasi Lodge – one of the finest luxury eco-lodges in Chile that’s known for it’s long list of unique tailormade tours, gourmet cuisine and amazing locations. Having taken a flight from the capital, check into magnificent Awasi and begin to craft your daily tours and excursions with the help of a personal guide, experiencing Atacama your way.
Day 3 | Atacama
Today is your first full day to explore the otherworldly wonders of the Atacama Desert on a tailormade program designed just for you. There are countless tours available with cultural and scenic activities like the El Tatio Geysers, Altiplano Salt Flats, the Moon Valley, Saciel Volcano or visiting the historic highlights of San Pedro, Cejar Lagoon, and so much more.
Day 4 | Atacama
Day 4 of this magical tour gives you more time to discover the beauty of the Atacama Desert at your own pace. You may wish to enjoy the grounds of the lodge or head out for further excursions like a picnic in the desert, horseback or mountain bike riding adventures, perhaps a full-day hike or making your way to the observatory for some of the best stargazing anywhere on Earth.
Day 5 | Atacama/Santiago
This morning you may have chance for one final excursion of hike around the plains of Atacama, before taking a flight back to Santiago for an afternoon at leisure enjoying the restaurants and parks of Santiago, or he city’s Lastarria neighborhood.
Day 6 | Santiago/Punta Arenas/Torres del Paine
This tour of beautiful extremes takes you from the bustling capital to Patagonia’s fairytale landscapes in Torres del Paine. Undoubtedly, the Torres del Paine National Park is one of the greatest and most picturesque areas in South America, and you’ll get to see the best of it while staying at Awasi Patagonia and choosing your own tours each day. Having flown from the capital to Punta Arenas, you’ll be taken to Awasi for check-in and begin planning your activities from there.
Day 7 | Torres del Paine
Awasi Patagonia sits in the midst of a stunning, dramatic landscape surrounded by snow-dusted mountains, glacial lakes and open plains. There is an interesting cultural history here too, and you can experience it all with an itinerary of tours crafted by you. From the Fossil Circuit to the French Valley, hiking the Pingo River or witnessing the great Grey Glacier, the list of walking trails, mountain climbs and natural highlights is immense.
Day 8 | Torres del Paine
More time exploring incredible Patagonia comes on day 8 of this tour. You may wish to spot wildlife at Condor Lookout or the Vega Castillo Wetlands, perhaps go mountain biking or get a taste of gaucho lifestyle with a horseback ride around the plains – the choice is yours.
Day 9 | Torres del Paine
Discover more of Chile’s glorious extremes on day 9. You could opt for a full-day hike, unwind around the grounds of Awasi Patagonia, or travel further afield with a local guide and visit surrounding estancias to soak up local culture. The choice is yours.
Day 10 | Torres del Paine/Santiago/Departure
As this stunning tour of Chile comes to a close, you may have time for one final hike around the area before your onward flight to Santiago and home, full of priceless memories.
